Ivory Wharf plans submitted

Outline planning has been submitted for an 8.42-acre mixed-use development at Salford Quays, along with detailed plans for the redevelopment of the former Colgate factory.
 
The plans, submitted by The Carlyle Group and Abstract Nikal, were submitted after a considerable stage of public consultation, which returned a largely favourable verdict. read more

£8m Kickstart for Salford scheme

The New Broughton hosing development is back on track after receiving £8m of Kickstart funding from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
 
Work on the Countryside Properties scheme will now restart, allowing an additional 169 homes to be built. read more

Northern Regeneration Summit

Small business owners in Salford could soon benefit from specialist mentoring thanks to a £4.9 million programme launched by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).
