ITV back in talks over Salford Quays move

Broadcaster ITV says it is back in talks with the Peel Group over a possible move that could see its Manchester base shift to the MediaCity UK development in Salford.(Sourced from Regen & Renewal.)
 

Last year, ITV broke off discussions with Peel, owners of the Salford Quays development that will also be the BBC’s new home in the north. Then, ITV said it had terminated negotiations with Peel after the developer "dramatically scaled back" its financial commitment to the move.

But a spokesman for ITV said that Peel had recently been back in touch with the broadcaster regarding MediaCity and that ITV was now looking "at all the options".
