Business event to examine balanced regeneration

The Insider Economic Forum takes place at The Lowry Hotel on December 15. A panel will examine how new and existing businesses in Salford can work and live side by side.
The panel includes Chris Farrow, of Central Salford URC; Ruth Daniel, of Fat Northerner Records/Un-Convention; University of Salford's Professor Martin Hall; and Simon Bedford from Drivers Jonas.
Salford is becoming an attractive investment prospect and increasingly desireable location for many businesses, thanks to projects such as the regeneration of Chapel Street, Greengate and the MediaCityUK scheme. But balanced and sustainable communities are key to the continued growth of any successful city. Is this what will evolve in Salford?
The breakfast meeting will explain the new cultural initiatives that are in place and outline how to make the best of the bright young talent coming out of the University of Salford, said organiser Insider Media.
